It all started in 2005 when I was looking for a business and exploring different options that would allow me to work from home. At that stage my sons Jake and Bryce were 2 and 6 months old respectively. The lightbulb moment came when visiting Australia and helping my friend pack her dishwasher. I was amazed that she was putting her babies bottles with gorgeous labels stuck to them into the dishwasher. We were forever losing my sons bottles and thought that these waterproof labels were a fabulous idea for South African moms.
When I got back to South Africa I spent the next six months researching different printers, types of vinyls, paper products and web developers. The most challenging part was designing the Kids Labels website making the labels accessible to the whole country and later the world and implementing the technology to take credit card purchases online. At that stage online shopping was relatively new and everyone was skeptical! With MWebs secure payment portal and the very talented Warp Development guys and girls guiding the ecommerce process Kids Labels website was born. Because we have never compromised on quality and service and have added fun, bright, and very useful products we have managed to grow successfully year on year.
This year we have upgraded and redesigned our site with the very latest online technology again designed by the talented Warp Development team making our site super easy to navigate and the online shopping experience quick and hassle free. We keep customers updated through social media via our fabulous Instagram feed and Facebook page where we update customers on specials and new products.
